Spearhead Studios strikes content deal with EveryMatrix

Spearhead Studios, the game development section of the online gambling group EveryMatrix, has signed an online casino content distribution agreement with Playtech.

As part of the recently signed agreement, Spearhead Studios' entire portfolio of gaming titles will soon be available to Playtech's network of partner operators via the Playtech Games Marketplace.

Founded in the fall of 2019, Spearhead Studios specializes in the development and supply of online slots and table games for operators providing their services in regulated markets. The iGaming studio currently has over 35 titles and its portfolio grows continuously.

Spearhead Studios currently collaborates with over 100 online casino operators in different jurisdictions across Europe and Latin America. More recently, its games launched in the UK. The company will soon also be operational in the United States and other regulated territories.

Additionally, its games are available through several top tier casino content aggregators, including Microgaming, ORYX Gaming and United Remote, among others.

News about the studio's partnership with Playtech emerges just days after the announcement of its first video poker title: Jacks or Better. The new version offers gameplay optimized for mobile gaming and excellent UX. Its RTP is 99.54%. It offers players the opportunity to bet 5, 10, 25, 50 or even 100 euros, with the possibility of earning up to €400.000 in winnings by betting €5.

A testament to the quality of their content

Commenting on their latest partnership, Spearhead Studios CEO Mathias Larsson said Playtech is a well-known name in the iGaming world with a large network of customers in all major regulated markets around the world.

Mr. Larsson went on to say that making their games available on the Playtech Games Martkeplace is "a testament to the quality of our content" and that they are very excited to kick off their partnership with the industry provider.

Playtech casino director James Frendo said that their goal is to always provide their partner operators with world-class online casino software and that the integration of Spearhead Studios' content into their "ever-growing portfolio" has been another step in supporting their partners in "providing the best possible casino experience for their players."

This is the latest in a series of big announcements Playtech has made in recent weeks. Last month, the company pushed even further into the Swiss iGaming market through a content supply agreement with Lugano Casino, the oldest gambling facility in the lucrative Italian-Swiss region.

Also in March, Playtech announced it had secured a long-term lease for its first live casino studio in Michigan and the United States in general. The studio will showcase the company's advanced live casino technology and mirror the video capabilities of its flagship live casino facility in Riga.
